4 MAINTENANCE
Routine maintenance must be carried out on the
system according to the manufacturer's directions.
Any maintenance operation must be performed by qualified
personnel only.
No type of modification must be made to the system.
Disconnect the power supply before every opera-
tion!
Carry out the following periodic controls on
the power source:
- Clean the power source inside by means of
low-pressure compressed air and soft bristel
brushes.
- Check the electric connections and all the
connection cables.
For the maintenance or replacement of torch component,
electrode holder and/or earth cables:
Check the temperature of the component and
make
sure that they are not overheated.
Always use gloves in compliance with the safety
standards.
Use suitable spanners and tools.
Failure to perform said maintenance will invalidate all war-
ranties and exempt the manufacturer from all liability.
5 DIAGNOSTICS AND SOLUTIONS
The repair or replacement of any parts in the
system must be carried out only by qualified
engineers.
The repair or replacement of any parts in the system by per-
sonnel other than authorised personnel shall cause the pro-
duct warranty to become null and void.
The system must not be modified in any way.
The manufacturer declines any responsibility should the
operator not follow these instructions.
Wire feed blocked
Cause
Faulty torch button.
Solution
Replace the faulty component.
Contact the nearest service centre to have the
system repaired.

Damaged torch sheath.
Solution
Replace the faulty component.

Cause
Melted torch nozzle (sticking wire)

Replace the faulty component.
Irregular wire feed
