7. Simply press the call forward button (5) to connect the door unit with the user.
To end the communication without forwarding it:
1. Hang up the handset 1060/41 or press the button (6).
RECEIVING A CALL FROM AN APARTMENT STATION AND
FORWARDING TO ANOTHER USER
Calls from users to the switchboard will be indicated by the specifi c ringer and by the icon (10) which will
blink. The call data area (7) or (8) will provide information on the caller.
To answer the call using the 1060/41 handset:
1. Pick up the handset
If a microphone headset it used:
1. Press button (10)
To follow the call:
1. Click on free call data area (8) if you answered the call in area (7) or vice
versa
2. The user will be put on hold.
3. Enter the user's code and press (10) or alternatively press button (23) to
open the address book
4. Select the required name and press the "Handset" (10) button
5. The message "Connected" will appear when the user answers in the selected call area
6. Press button (5) to put the apartment with the user
To end the communication without forwarding it:
1. Hang up the handset 1060/41 or press the button (6)
2. OPERATING MODES
Several switchboards competent for one or more devices may be present in the system.
The switchboards competent for a device are those on its topological path. The switchboards competent for
MAX monitors or Audio Door Units in day mode intercept the calls from Calling Modules and Door Units.
The operating mode of the switchboard depends on its operating status which may be modifi ed by the
operator by selecting the desired status from the button (23).
SWITCHBOARD IN OFF OR STANDBY MODE
This mode is indicated by
Switchboard behaviour:
1. When the switchboard is in off or standby mode, it doesn't
perform any operations
2. Calls coming from door units are directly addressed to users
3. The calls from apartment stations and door units are rejected
by the switchboard.
