GENERAL INFORMATION
Your safety and the safety of others are very
important. We have provided important safety
messages in this manual. This information alerts
you to potential hazards that could hurt you or
others. Please read these messages carefully. Of
course, it is not practical or possible to warn you
about all the hazards associated with operating or
maintaining a grow box. You must always use your
own good judgment.

It is the user's responsibility to use the device
with common sense, paying the utmost attention
and care during installation, maintenance, and
operation. Use this hydroponic grow box only for
the cultivation and care of plants. This appliance
is intended for indoor use only. Do not insert
electrical or inflammable material into the grow
box, as this may cause burns or a fire. The
manufacturer and the distributors can not be held
responsible for damage caused by improper or
incorrect use of the appliance. If the grow box
is not kept clean, the surface may deteriorate,
damaging the appliance and potentially causing
dangerous situations.
Improper use of the grow box also leads to the
cancellation of any form of warranty. When using
this appliance basic precautions should always
be followed; read all instructions before using
Linfa. The pumps, the fans, the lights are parts
of Linfa that work with electric current. They are
absolutely safe when used properly, but it is good
to remember that, when water and electricity are
together, prudence is always appropriate. It is
therefore important to follow the warnings below.
Protect the device from direct sunlight, splashes
of water and other moisture.

GROW BOX
Linfa grow boxes are designed to grow a variety
of herbs and plants. Other uses could result in
injury to the operator or damage to the grow box
and other property. Injuries and property damage
from grow boxes can be prevented by following
all instructions in this manual. The most common
hazards are discussed below, along with the best
way to protect yourself and others.
Avoid the risk of lethal electric shock and fire
Linfa has a specific plug. Do not change the plug
in any way.
Disconnect Linfa from the power outlet before
installing or removing parts.
Never operate Linfa if it has a damaged power
cable or plug, if it is not operating properly, if it
has been dropped, if it has been submerged in
water, or if it has been damaged in some other
way. If any of these eventualities occur, contact
the customer support.
Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
Do not use Linfa if you suspect that water is being
drawn into the pump / electronics compartment
(rear panel of the machine) from the cultivation
area. At the slightest suspicion that there is a
loss of current in the water or when the circuit
breaker trips, disconnect immediately the power
plug and contact the manufacturer for assistance.
Inspect the casing and the cable to check for any
damage. The power cord of this appliance cannot
be repaired or replaced: in the event of damage to
the cable, contact the service center. Never cut
the power cord. In case of repeated tripping of the
electric differential, contact the customer support
for instructions.
It is advisable to arrange the cable so that part of
it is lower than the power outlet to prevent drops
of water coming down the cable and potentially
penetrating the outlet.
Do not lay or immerse the base, power cord, plug
or lights in water or any other liquid to clean them.
Do not allow water to come in contact with the
lights.
The electrical system must comply with local and
national regulations.
Grounding system must comply with local and
national regulations.
Clean the pins of the plug regularly with a dry
cloth, removing any dust, water, or other foreign
substances.
Do not pull or bend the power cord excessively or
place heavy objects on top of it.
Do not place the cord close to sharp edges, do not
fix it or let it hang.
It is preferable not to use extension cables. If an
extension cable is required, make sure that the
cable is at least equivalent (as per insulation,
cross-section and number of conductors) to that
of the appliance: contact a qualified installer to
make the connection.
Do not touch the electric plug with wet hands.
Verify that the voltage, frequency, and current
match the device specifications.
Do not hook the electric cable to metal objects to
avoid damaging the cable itself.
The grow box must be positioned so that the
outlet is accessible. If the appliance generates
abnormal noise, a burning smell or smoke,
immediately disconnect the plug and contact the
nearest service center.
Once the installation has been completed,
the power outlet must be accessible to easily
disconnect the appliance.
Use caution when connecting other electrical
equipment to outlets near the grow box.
Do not tamper with the safety circuits and do
not insert any objects into the holes in the safety
circuits.
During long periods of non-use, disconnect the
appliance from the power outlet. To avoid causing
damage to the cable, disconnect the appliance by
pulling the plug and not the cable.

a damp cloth and a mild detergent to clean the
surface of the machine.
Fill the water tank only when it is correctly
positioned in the machine.
