Rear axle
Rear axle (Fig. 4.16 - 4.17)
There are 3 different axles in the range, which
can each be screwed to the frame using the
axle clamp.
Swap / change the axle:
Undo the 3 fixing screws on the left and right
axle clamp. Remove the axle and exchange it.
To complete the operation, place the half shell
of the axle clamp back onto the axle and fix it
with the three fixing screws.
Tighten the 3 fixing screws alternately until all 3
screws are fixed to a torque of 5 Nm.
Note: When changing from aluminium to
carbon tubes, the eccentric sleeve must
also be changed.
5.0 Maintenance and care (checks to be carried out before use)

If you have any questions or require any help, please contact your dealer, who will be pleased to
advise you with regards to servicing and repairs.
Depending on how much you have used your Shark RS / RT, we recommend that you take
it to your dealer at least every 6 months, to have your Shark RS / RT inspected by trained
personnel.

Before oiling, please remove all old oil
remnants from the components.
Make sure that the surplus oil does
not get the surrounding area
(e.g. your clothes) dirty.

Spray lightly with Teflon spray
Be careful not to get it on your clothes!

If there are any cracks or general wear
and tear, then change the rubbers or
visit an authorised service centre
for a refurbishment.
