Maintenance regulations
Electric planes that are not maintained, or are not professionally maintained, can cause serious accidents. It
is essential to observe the maintenance intervals and maintenance work outlined below.

WARNING
Danger of fatal electric shock
Incorrect cleaning can lead to death or
serious injuries.
▶ Disconnect the power supply before
carrying out cleaning.
▶ Make sure that all surfaces have dried
completely before reconnecting the
power supply.

Disconnect the mains plug.

Clean the holding arm, drive machine and
plane disc.

Use a brush to remove dirt from under the
belt cover.
CAUTION
Harmful substances
▶ Observe the safety notes of the
lubricant used.

Lubricate the guide bar retainer with
BRUNOX® Turbo-Spray® or an equivalent
lubricant.

Wipe away excess lubricant using an
absorbent cloth.

Maintenance work
• Carry out a visual inspection to check the electric plane for externally
visible defects and damage that could affect safety. Do not operate a
damaged electric plane.
• Carry out a visual inspection to check the mains cable for externally
visible defects and damage that could affect safety. Have an electrically
skilled person replace the damaged mains cable or hand the electric
plane over to an authorised repair shop for repair.
• If the electric plane is soiled, clean it with a damp cloth.
