• We recommend a training ti me of approx. 20 to 30 minutes on the device.
• Start with a low torque resistance and increase the intensity gradually unti l you
reach the desired pe formance level that you are sti ll capable of maintaining. And
allow the training to fade out with a slow pace and low torque resistance.
SETTING THE TORQUE RESISTANCE
The torque resistance is changed with the adjusti ng knob (5):
• Increase resistance: turn screw in directi on +
• Reduce resistance: turn screw in directi on -
TRAINING
The device can be used to train both the leg mus-
cles and the arm muscles.
Legs:
1. Place the device on the fl oor.
2. Sit down in front of it on a chair or stool.
3. Place your feet in the pedal straps and pedal at
an even pace.
Arms:
1. Place the device on a table.
2. Sit down in front of it on a chair or stool.
3. Hold the pedals fi rmly with your hands and
turn them at an even pace.
4. As soon as the pedals are moved, the training
computer (7) switches on. Set the display to what
you want (see the "Device Overview" chapter,
"Functi ons of the Computer") or allow all dis-
plays to run through in succession.
AFTER TRAINING
Aft er training, you should always perform stretching exercises in order to slowly restore
your circulati on to a normal level.
A few example exercises:
• Upper body: stand upright, cross your arms over your head and
pull your left elbow to the right with your right hand. The upper
body moves gently as you do this. Stay in this positi on for 15 – 20
