7.4
CONNECTION OF THE ALARM RELAYS:
The connection will be made with a PHOENIX MC 1,5/5-ST-3.81 plug-in connector, with 3.81mm pitch or
equivalent (5-pole).
The connection must be made on the side, as shown in the following figure.
7.5
CONNECTING THE ETHERNET NETWORK CABLING:
This connection must be made using a standard RJ45 (8P8C) connector for Ethernet, in accordance with
standard TIA/EIA-568-B.
Any cable complying with standards TIA/EIA-568-A or TIA/EIA-568-B will be valid for connection on a standard
basis. The ETH interface of the device does not have "autocrossing", so the correct cable will depend on the
device to which it is connected. If a direct connection is made to a device that does not have "autocrossing"
implemented, then it may be necessary to use a crossover cable (TIA/EIA-568-B crossover).
It is recommended to use CAT5E or higher category commercial cables to ensure optimal data transfer rate.
This is due to the fact that using manually crimped connectors may degrade signal quality and negatively
affect the performance of communications.
