INFORMATION ABOUT THESE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Welcome to FIAP GmbH. You have made an excellent choice with the purchase of
ACTIVE. Prior to commissioning the UV Active, please read the
the product UVC
operating instructions and familiarize yourself with the device. It is essential to observe
the safety instructions for correct and safe use. Keep these operating instructions in a
secure place for future reference.
When changing ownership, please pass on these operating instructions.
INTENDED USE
UVC ACTIVE from FIAP GmbH, referred to as „device", may only be used as follows:
For cleaning garden ponds, swimming ponds, pools and aquariums. Operate only
in compliance with the technical data. Never operate the UVC lamp without the
housing or use it for any other purpose. The UVC radiation is harmful to the
eyes and skin even in small doses. Never use this device to convey fluids other
than water. Never operate device without water flow. Do not use for commercial
or industrial purposes. Do not use to sterilize drinking water or other liquids.
Do not use in combination with chemicals, food, easily combustible or explosive
substances.
IMPROPER USE
If used improperly or handled incorrectly, this device may cause harm to persons.
In case of improper use, the liability on our part and the general operating
permit expire.

In accordance with the EC-Directive EMC-Directive (89 / 336 / EEC) and the Low
Voltage Directive (73 / 23 / EEC), we declare the conformity.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This device may be used by children 8 years old and over, and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, if they have been supervised or instructed in the safe use of the
device and understand the hazards arising therefrom.
Children are not allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not
be performed by children without supervision. It is essential to observe the safety inst-
ructions for correct and safe use. Keep this manual carefully. When changing ownership,
