Intended use
The leak detector is intended for identifying
refrigerant leaks.
The device is intended for identifying the fol-
lowing compounds used in refrigerants:
• CFCs
• HCFCs
• HFOs
• HFCs
The device is suitable for indoor and outdoor
use.
This product is only suitable for the intended
purpose and application in accordance with
these instructions.
This manual provides information that is nec-
essary for proper installation and/or operation
of the product. Poor installation and/or
improper operating or maintenance will result
in unsatisfactory performance and a possible
failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any
injury or damage to the product resulting from:
• Incorrect assembly or connection, including
excess voltage
• Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts
other than original spare parts provided by
the manufacturer
• Alterations to the product without express
permission from the manufacturer
• Use for purposes other than those
described in this manual

Technical description
The device is equipped with an electrochemi-
cal heated diode sensor to detect refrigerant
leaks.
The flexible sensor probe has a protective
foam filter in the tip. The device emits an audi-
ble signal when the sensor probe is moved
past a refrigerant leak.
If the sensor probe is held over a refrigerant
leak the signal will gradually fade and the
device will not respond to this leak anymore.
This allows multiple leaks to be identified in
one area.
The device has two sensitivity settings for test-
ing in larger ares and for the detection of small
refrigerant leaks.
The device has 3 LEDs to indicate the operat-
ing status:
