Claims for defects and liability
DENIOS is not liable for claims for defects, damage or injury to persons or property caused by one or more of the
following:
Misuse

Incorrect assembly, commissioning, operation or maintenance

Non-observance of the notices in the operating instructions

Operation with defective safety equipment or safety and protective equipment which has been fitted

incorrectly or which is not in working order
Use of the product when defects or faults are present

Incorrectly conducted repair work

Vandalism

Catastrophe situations caused by the effect of foreign bodies and force majeure

Independent conversion of the product

2.1 Intended use of the equipment
Scissor gripper HW is used for vertically rotating or horizontally turning 205 litre steel ribbed drums in accordance
with DIN EN 15750-1, -2. The drums can be turned or rotated in the gripper for dispensing or emptying.
The scissor gripper is designed to be held by a crane other lifting equipment.
2.1.1 Misuse
The following are considered as not in accordance with the intended use:
Use in areas at risk of an explosion!

Use of plastic drums!

2.2 Operator duties
2.2.1 Before commissioning
Any person who is involved in the use, servicing or repair of the scissor gripper must be familiar with the contents
of the operating instructions.
