Before carrying out any operation inside the boiler,
disconnect the power and close the gas cock up-
stream. Otherwise there may be a danger of explo-
sion, electric shock, suffocation or poisoning.
Opening the front panel
Some internal components of the boiler can reach
B
temperatures high enough to cause severe burns. Be-
fore carrying out any operation, wait for these compo-
nents to cool or else wear suitable gloves.
To open the boiler casing:
1. Undo the screws "1" (see fig. 40).
2. Pull the panel outwards and lift it.
On this unit, the casing also acts as a sealed chamber.

After any operation involving opening the boiler, care-
fully check the correct refitting of the front panel and
its seal.
