Warning – Batteries
• Avoid storing, charging or using the device
in extreme temperatures and extremely low
atmospheric pressure (for example, at high
altitudes).
Warning – Button cells
• Do not ingest battery, risk of burns due to
dangerous substances.
• This product contains button cells. If
swallowed, the button cell can cause severe
internal burns within just two hours and
lead to death.
• Keep new and used batteries out of the reach
of children.
• If the battery compartment does not close
securely, stop using the product and keep it
out of the reach of children.
• If you think that batteries were swallowed
or are in a part of the body, seek medical
assistance immediately.
4. Functions
Normal time mode
Displays the time, date, weekday and temperature.
Alarm and snooze function
Set a daily alarm and snooze function, select an
alarm sound.
Birthday reminder
Alarm function for a speci c day in a speci c year
and at a speci c time. The alarm plays a popular
birthday song at the speci ed time. This alarm
melody cannot be changed.
Timer
Classic count-down alarm (egg timer) with a time
range from 23:59 to 00:01. After the speci ed time
has elapsed, an alarm tone goes off
Temperature function
Automatically measures and displays the ambient
temperature.
Music function
In normal time mode, press the  button to play
music or to stop it.
5. Installation and Settings
Note
• After removal of the batteries' contact
breaker, the normal time is displayed in
12-hour format and a melody signals that
the product is ready for use.
• The function modes are organized as
follows: Normal time mode  12 h/24
h format/time/date Alarm and snooze
function  Birthday reminder  Timer 
Normal time mode
• When the item ashes, it means that the
item selected can be set.

5.1 Changing the battery

• Push the integrated thermometer gently upwards
so that it is released from the pin holder. (Fig. 1)
• Open the battery compartment cover (7) by
loosening the screw. If necessary, remove the
spent battery and insert a new CR2025 button
cell, checking the correct polarity.
• Close the battery compartment by screwing the
screw back in and push the thermometer back
into the pin holder.
5.2 Setting 12 h/24 h Format, the Time, and
the Date
• In normal time mode, press the MODE button
once to switch between 12 h and 24 h format.
• Use the  and  buttons to select the format
you want to use.
• Then press the SET button to set the time using
the  and  buttons. The time is set beginning
with the hour in the format that was previously
selected, 12 or 24 hour time.
The hour ashes in the display.
