Red strips are mounted on the carrying
handle. Following proper installation and
locking of the Topcase, these colored
strips must no longer be visible!

Warning
Always turn the key into the "LOCK" posi-
tion so that the Topcase cannot become
detached while driving!
Remove Topcase
Then turn the key clockwise to "RELEASE"
til the carrying handle
markings
become visible.
Pull up the carrying handle
This retracts the locking hooks.
Lift the Topcase by the grab handle
move it downward from the luggage rack.
