c. Wait for 5 minutes.
The soak step helps to remove scale buildup and prevent the growth of bacteria.
d. Open the flow cell valve to drain the acid solution.
5. Flush the sensor with the rinse water:
a. Open the rinse valve to fully flush the sensor with the rinse water for 1 to 5 minutes.
b. Close the rinse valve.
c. Close the flow cell valve.
d. Open the rinse valve until the flow cell fills with the rinse water. Let the rinse water go up into
the line below the solution valves.
e. Close the rinse valve.
f. Open the flow cell valve to drain the rinse water.

6. Rinse the sensor with the deionized water:
a. Close the flow cell valve.
b. Push and hold the deionized water valve until the deionized water fills the flow cell.
c. Open the flow cell valve to drain the deionized water.
