RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

Following are some recommendations the user should take into account when using
the appliance. The list of recommendations is not complete since it is difficult to foresee
all the various operating situations which could occur (for example, product type, shape
and size). Therefore, the use must have experience and evaluate the most appropriate
actions to be taken case by case to maintain a suitable safety level.
Before starting the appliance, place product as indicated.
1 - Adjust the portioning device (D) and blade guide (C3) positions according to the size
of the food product to be obtained.
2 - Fully lift the product press (B2).
3 - Place food product on the work surface (B1), rest it against the portioning device (D)
and cutting blade (C1) and lock it in position with the product press.
4 - After preparing the product, rotate the selector (A) to position 1 to start the appliance.
Keep the product against the portioning device while simultaneously pushing the

product press to cut.
Caution - Precaution
Keep concentrated during the cutting phase. Keep your left hand on the product
press handle and keep your right hand, used to accompany the product, away from
the bandsaw.
Always protect your right hand with a steel mesh glove to avoid cutting risks.
Do not run the appliance when empty and stop it to prevent cutting risks.
5 - To stop the appliance, rotate the selector (A) to position 0.
6 - Follow the listed suggestions to keep the appliance in good working conditions and
to guarantee longer working life and keep safety requirements constant.
7 - Periodically make sure the bandsaw is centred and in line with the blade guide blocks.
To centre the bandsaw, loosen the knobs (G), lightly rest the blocks (H) against the
blade and tighten the knobs.
8 - Periodically check bandsaw tension.
To adjust bandsaw tension , rotate the knob (F) clockwise.
9 - Sharpen the bandsaw blade (C1) as soon as product is not correctly cut.
