- If the call button of the counter intercom is pressed, a ringing tone shall sound at the desk intercom to
attract the attention of the personnel behind the counter.
a. In order for the customer to be able to talk, the OUT control must be activated.
b. In order for the customer to be able to hear the person behind the window, the IN control shall be
activated.
- Additional Information:
- It is recommended to speak 5 cm from the table microphone and 20 cm from the window intercom
in order to pick up the voice correctly and without distortion.
- The length of the cable connecting both intercomms can be extended to 100 m. Beyond 10 m the
window intercom may lose its signal level.
- If both microphones are active, the microphone of the desktop intercom shall have priority in the
conversation.
- This system includes a noise gate which acts on the microphone signal by deactivating the microphone
signal if the received signal is weak, when the voice volume exceeds a certain level the microphone
is activated to allow communication. The noise gate will be active as long as both microphones (IN
and OUT) are enabled on the desktop intercom.
WINDOW INTERCOM INSTALLATION
ON GLASS
1.- Peel the paper off from one side of the accessory foam and stick it to the back of the window intercom.
2.- Clean the surface of the glass where it is to be placed with alcohol or other grease-free cleaner.
3.- Peel the paper off the back of the intercom, place it on the glass and press for a few seconds.
