Note before wiring:
• The mains voltage must correspond
• The installation must be carried out
• Assign terminals as indicated!
• Electrical power must be discon-
• Remove screws (7) and lift off front cover
• Detach cable connector (33) from sen-
• Undo screw (7) of power unit housing
• Pull out power unit PCB (21).
• Unscrew cable fitting (22-24) and insert
• Connect cable (31) to terminal KL1 or
• Slide power unit PCB (21) into power
• Ensure that the cable connector (33)
• Plug cable connector (33) onto sensor
• Mount front cover (18) as discribed on
Terminal assignment for VAC de-
vices:
L = phase conductor, N = neutral conduc-
tor; PE = protective earth conductor
Note: There is no metallic isolation
between terminals KL4.1-6 or KL 5.1-2
and the condensate area.
In the case of 24 VDC operation, do not
connect +24 VDC to frame because the
internal housing potential of the device
is negative.
*) When supplying several BEKOMAT
20 units simultaneosusly from a single
24 VDC source we recommend: connect
operating voltage preferably to KL4.4 +
KL4.5 instead of KL4.1 + KL4.2 while
observing the polarity.
