4.8. Connection of analogue microphone desks to the IF-7WDCETH (MD-18, MD-15)

ATTENTION: ONLY IF THE IF-7WDCETH IS INCORPORATED WITH THE OPTIONAL IF-MER MODULE.
(LOCAL ANALOGUE INPUTS FOR MUSIC AND PAGING AND SURETY PAGING RELAY).
Connect the microphone desk to the PAGING input of the IF-MER module. The input sensitivity can be set to -20dB or 0dB using the
Call Point or Call Point Configurator software.
The IF-7WDCETH will reproduce the signal applied to this input by connecting the PRI (priority) contact to the GND (ground)
contact.
It also has an ACK (Acknowledge) output contact. When this contact is closed, the IF-7WDCETH indicates to the desk that the
priority channel is activated and ready to receive audio.
Figure 16 shows the connection of an MD-18 desk to the IF-7WDCETH.
