It has a keyboard and in conjunction with the LCD screen you can get easy
access to configurations; as example, you can change frequency to make the
radio compatible with other brands such as Motorola or Kenwood.
The walkie talkie transmits with 7W of power output and it has a maximum
scope of 7km in areas with no obstacles, it has 16 main channels and you
can configure up to 99 channels, more. It includes channel amplitude (wide or
narrow) in UHF band, helping to enhance data information or reduce noises and
interferences. It has VOX function to transmit voice without pressing PTT
button, squelch to reduce radio signal noises and CTCSS/DCS and STE
function, to encrypt security and keep your communications only with the radios
you want. The radio has battery status indicator.
