IF THE APPLIANCE IS INSTALLED IN AN EXISTING CONVENTIONAL FIREPLACE, POSITION IT AS EXPLAINED BELOW:
1. Make sure the floor supporting the appliance has the following properties:
-
It must be able to withstand the weight of the product and its accessories.
-
It must be strong enough to permit anchoring with anchor plugs in complete safety. If it is not, a new reinforced concrete slab with metal mesh
must be made over the existing (cleaned) fireplace floor.
-
It must be perfectly flat.
-
The side walls must be as perpendicular as possible to the floor.
2. Make sure the space is large enough to house the insert.
After checking the above conditions, install the unit as follows:
3. Fit the appliance with the base in the hearth compartment and, after defining the right position, drill the holes to anchor the base to the floor.
4. Use expansion bolts to anchor the base of the appliance to the floor. This operation must be carried out very carefully to prevent the structure
from tipping over when the insert itself is extracted.
5. Make the electrical connections and attach the flue in accordance with the applicable laws.
N.B.: when making the electrical connections, MAKE SURE that the electrical cable is long enough to allow the appliance's guides to extend
outwards from the hearth itself.
