After approx. 2 hours of continuous operation the appliance switches off automatically
(even if you change any settings/display icons) and a beep can be heard. If you have
programmed the timer, the timer countdown will have priority and the appliance switches
off automatically after the set time.

7.4 Switching off using the timer
You can program the timer to switch the induction hotplate off automatically after a preset time.
1.
Press the sensor button for the timer
timer.

Use the + (10) and - (12) buttons to set the cooking time you want (in minutes) before the heating
zone is to switch off.
You can program the cooking time to between 1 and 180 minutes. Press the + button (10) to
set the timer in 10-minute steps. Press the – button (12) to set the timer in 1-minute steps.
The time set flashes briefly and then the remaining time (countdown) is shown on the display (11).
If the timer is activated, the display (11) alternates showing the power level or temperature and the
remaining time at around 5 second intervals.
The timer indicator (16) is only lit while the time is shown on the display (11). While the power
level or temperature is shown, only the indicator (3) is lit, not the indicator (16).
