Safety instructions
• Please be sure to maintain a safe and sufficient battery re-
serve during your trips! The range calculation of your trip is
based on GPS real-time data. Changing conditions, such as
wind, current and direction of travel, may have a significant
impact on your available range.
• Please look at your smartphone or tablet only if needed and
if it does not endanger your safety. If you have to look at
the app for a longer period, please stop your watercraft in a
safe, out of the way place.
General information
• For technical reasons the values displayed in the app and on the displays of
the tiller or remote throttle are not always synchronous. The displayed valu-
es may vary slightly; this depends on the system and does not represent a
system error. TorqTrac and your Torqeedo motor are fully operable.
• The TorqTrac module has a maximum range of 10 meters. People, boxes,
casings etc. considerably reduce the range if positioned between the mo-
dule and the device while the app is running. When setting up your system,
make sure that the TorqTrac module is placed as close as possible to the
driver's position to ensure a stable wireless connection to your smartphone
or tablet.

TorqTrac uses the energy-efficient Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE / Bluetooth®
LE) for data transmission. To use this technology, your device must meet
certain requirements. Please ask the manufacturer of your device to be sure
that Bluetooth® Low Energy is supported.

Note: To ensure a stable data connection via Bluetooth® SMART,
make sure that the TorqTrac module is always plugged in as close
as possible to the tiller or remote throttle control.

Open the app on your

smartphone or tablet
Upon the first connection attempt, TorqTrac will
automatically search for your TorqTrac module and
connect to it. Follow the instructions in the app to
complete the set-up.

TheTorqTrac app has identified your Bluetooth® mo-
dule and is now transmitting data from your Torqeedo
motor to your smartphone or tablet. All TorqTrac func-
tions are designed for ease of use. For more details
regarding the use of the app itself see www.torqeedo.

Connect to another TorqTrac module
To prevent miscommunication with other TorqTrac modules, the
TorqTrac app only recognizes the individual TorqTrac module
you used to initialize the app. If you wish to establish a connec-
tion to another TorqTrac module, make the following settings in
our app (Android) or in the system settings of your device (iOS):
Settings > Apps > TorqTrac > Force connection to another motor.
