INSTALLATION
Water heater shutdown
Connect the display unit connecting cable plug to the PCB.
Note
It is essential to plug the connecting cable from the display
unit into the PCB before switching on the power. Otherwise,
the display will not function.
Hook the water heater cover into the water heater back panel
at the top rear. Pivot the cover downwards. Check that the cover
is securely seated at both top and bottom.
Secure the cover with the screw.
Remove the protective film from the front panel.
Switch on the power supply.
Ensure the display is functioning correctly.
12.2.2 Water heater handover
Explain the water heater functions to users, and familiarize
them with how it works.
Make the user aware of potential dangers, especially the risk of
scalding.
Hand over the instructions.
12.3 Operation with preheated water
The maximum inlet temperature may be limited by installing a
central thermostatic valve. Use the thermostatic valve for central
premixing, for example when operating an tankless water heater
with preheated water. For use in shower operation, the valve must
be set to a maximum of 131 °F (55 °C).

Material losses
!
To ensure that the Direct Coil
aged following an interruption to the water supply, the
water heater must be restarted by taking the following
steps:
Check the supply pressure. The reading on the gauge
should read more than 26.1 psi, but not more than
145 psi.
Disconnect the water heater from the power supply by
turning the connected circuit breaker.
Open and close all connected draw-off valves at least 5
times, for at least 3 minutes total, until all air has been
purged from the pipework and the water heater.
Switch the power back ON.
13. Water heater shutdown
Turn the connected circuit breaker too the "Off" position.
To avoid electric shock, make sure that nobody can activate
the circuit breaker during the entire time service work is being
performed.
Drain the water heater (See section 15.1, "Draining the water
heater," pg. 16").
