Quality control

The appearance of the processed flowers at the end of the trimming must be reviewed. If the result is not as desired,
they should be returned to the barrel.
When the necessary cutting time compared to previous batches has increased and/or the quality of the flower has
deteriorated, the machine may need prompt cleaning. Later sections of this manual describe this process in detail.

Safety

The MT Dry 800 is equipped with a safety device that guarantees the protection of the operator during use. This
consists of a coded magnetic actuator. When the main swing hatch is properly closed, the two parts of the actuator
are in contact and the machine is allowed to start. As soon as the hatch is opened by the front closure, the two parts
of the actuator are no longer in contact and the machine switches off automatically. In this case, the machine must
be reset to be able to restart.
As a security measure, if one of the following conditions is met:
• An unexpected restoration of the electricity supply
• An opening of the main swing hatch
• Overheating or motor abnormality
the machine goes into reset status and the MT Dry 800 motor shuts down and stays off, even if the electric current
is resumed or the green run switch (ON) is pressed.
The MT Dry 800 also has an emergency stop that allows machine operation to be stopped at all times. In the emergency
stop state, the motor switches off and remains off, even if power is resumed or the green run switch (ON) is pressed.
Maintenance
IMPORTANT: Maintenance work must always be carried out with the machine stopped and with the electricity supply
disconnected. Always wear protective gloves for maintenance operations.
To obtain a desired nominal amount of product and efficient use of the equipment, the equipment must be cleaned
regularly. The intensity and frequency of cleaning will depend on the conditions of the raw material processed. Master
Products recommends cleaning the drum and blade at least once every 4 hours of operation. For optimal cleaning,
use hot water, a soapy sponge and Master Clean liquid. We recommend cleaning and sanitizing the other parts of the
machine at the end of each working day (8-12 h).
