5.5. Waste Disposal
• The unit is constructed primarily of steel (except for the electrical components) and should
be disposed of in accordance with applicable local environmental regulations.
• Contaminated parts (e.g. hoses, cleaning brushes, cleaning cloths etc.) should be disposed
of in accordance with applicable environmental regulations.
• If you decide to use solvents by other manufacturers, it is crucial that you follow the safety
instructions provided by the manufacturer.
5.6. Operator Precautionary Measures
A 5-metre radius around the unit must be declared as danger zone.
The resulting danger zone:
• has to be marked as a fire hazard area because the solvents are inflammable,
• has to be kept free from any objects to allow for unhindered access to the unit at any time,
• and must have an effective means of natural ventilation.
•
Smoking is prohibited in the danger zone. Avoid open flames or other sources of
ignition.
•
Keep everything as clean as possible when working with solvents, oils and
lubricants.
•
Personnel operating or maintaining the machine must be trained beforehand. This

instruction manual must be attached to the unit.
All Parts Cleaners have been tested and certified.
