5) Inspection of Magneto Basement

Check oil seal 1 and O-ring 2 for wear, Replace if
1.
necessary.
2. When replace oil seal, apply engine oil to periphery of oil
seal, and install into magneto basement with number side
facing downward. Apply grease to lip of oil seal.

Oil seal Attachment 4 :
P/N 3T1-99820-0

6) Removing Advancer Arm

Loosen nylon nut, and then remove advancer arm 1.

7) Removing Intake Silencer and
Carburetors
Remove two grommets and intake silencer 1.

2. Loosen throttle lever end bolt.
