2- INSTALLATION

2.2 ELECTRIC WIRING

DANGER!
- Before connecting the device to the
electrical supply line, ensure that
the line is not with tension.
- If the connection cable is damaged,
have it replaced by the
manufacturer, maintenance chief or
other similarly qualified person.
- Ensure that the power supply line is
fitted with a 2/3 pole mains circuit
breaker, depending on the model
(single phase/three-phase), with a
minimum distance of 3 mm between
the contacts (Standard EN 60335-2-
40).
- Fit the installation with short-circuit
protection in order to prevent
electrical discharges. This is a legal
requirement.
- Use an electrical plug which is
properly suited to the electrical
power supply cable.
- Use wires in line with applicable
local, national and international
regulations for electrical
installations.
- Use officially approved electrical
connections and power supply
cables.
WARNING!
The wall-mounted indoor units (10-
025 MCDHWI, 10-035 MCDHWI, 10-
050 MCDHWI) may sometimes include
a NET connector, which will replace
the electric connection through a
strip.
WARNING!
- Use electric wires with sufficient
capacity.
- F ulfilment of Standard EN
61000-3-11: Check that the nominal
power of the main current connection
per phase is > 100.
- Ensure that the electrical tension
supplied is between 90% and 110%
of nominal tension.
- Install the device in such a manner
as the electrical connection is easily
accessible. So in case of emergency
the device can be quickly
unplugged.
WARNING!
It is necessary to include a 120 ohm
resistance in both the SDCC-02
controller (on the X-Y leads) as well
as on the last indoor unit connected
to it (X-Y).
WARNING!
For the proper operation of the
installation, follow the electric
connection diagrams shown on the
next two pages; use a 3-core
shielded cable between the X-Y-Z
inlets of each of the indoor units
with the outdoor unit and ground it
properly. Otherwise the machine
will not work.
