2.4. Troubleshooting

Symptom
Water leaks from
the bottom of the
coffee maker.
Water leaks from
the outer side of
the filter.
The Espresso
coffee has an
acidic (vinegar)
taste.
The coffee maker
doesn't work.

Cause
There is too much
water in the drip tray.
The coffee maker is not
working properly.
There is some coffee
powder on the edge of
the filter.
Incorrect cleaning after
cleaning the mineral
deposits.
The coffee powder is
stored in a hot, wet
place for a long time.
The coffee powder
turns bad.
The power outlet is not
plugged well.
Corrections
Please clean the drip
tray.
Please contact an
authorised service
centre for repair.
Clean the filter.
Clean the coffee
maker several
times, following the
"cleaning" instructions
several times.
Please use fresh
coffee powder, or
store unused coffee
powder in a cool, dry
place. After opening
a package of coffee
powder, reseal it
tightly and store it
in a refrigerator to
maintain its freshness.
Plug the power cord
correctly into a wall
outlet, if the appliance
still does not work,
please contact an
authorised service
centre for repair.
