• After pressing the power switch, if there is no any operation after the
pump worked for 3 minutes while brewing coffee, the unit will power
off automatically.

2.3. Maintenance

• Cut off the power source and let the coffee maker cool down
completely before cleaning.
• Clean the housing of the coffee maker with a moisture-proof sponge
regularly and clean the water tank, drip tray and removable shelf
regularly, drying them afterwards.
NOTE: Do not clean with alcohol or solvent cleanser. Never immerse
the housing in water for cleaning.
• Detach the metal funnel by turning it clockwise, dispose of the coffee
residue inside, then you can clean it with cleanser, but then you must
rinse it with clear water.
• Clean all the attachments in the water and dry thoroughly.
CLEANING MINERAL DEPOSITS
• To make sure your coffee maker is operating efficiently, the internal
piping is clean and the coffee flavour is at its best, you should clean
the mineral deposits every 2-3 months.
• Fill the tank with water and descale to the MAX level (the proportion
of water and descale is of 4:1, the detail refers to the instructions of
the descale. Please use a "household descale", you can use citric acid
(obtainable from chemists or drug stores) instead of the descale (in a
proportion of one hundred parts of water to three parts of citric acid).
• According to the preheating programme, place the metal funnel
(with no coffee powder in it) and jug in place. Brew the water in the
"PREHEATING" mode.
