Installing load carriers
– Carefully install the load carriers on the
roof trim strip (integrated rail). Transfer
the mounting (1) so that it is against the
roof trim strip on both sides of the car.
– Insert the mounting plate (2) towards
the roof trim strip.
– Move the knob outwards to facilitate
turning.
– Screw in the screw without tightening
it fully.
– Check that the rubber shim is correctly
positioned and that the load carriers
are straight.
– Tighten the screw with the integrated
torque wrench until it clicks.

– The image shows the correct position
of the mounting and the rubber shim
around the roof trim strip.
When using T-groove kit
– Lower the cover.
– Remove rubber moulding.
Hint: Use Volvo's One Key lock system to
lock the cover and any accessories that
are secured in the T-track.
