Operation
Note: When entering limit values, the decimal point does not appear in the display, but the value should
be entered as if it were displayed. For example: a lower limit of 2.55 kilograms should be entered as
02550 on the display.
Enter the upper limit of the checkweighing range using the SET/0~9 key to increase the flashing digit and the
TARE key to store a digit and move to the next position. After the last digit has been entered, the balance
returns to the weighing mode and checkweighing can begin.
Note: The upper limit must be greater than the lower limit. If this is not the case, „oFF" is displayed and the
balance returns to the normal weighing mode and the checkweighing is deactivated.
Place the objects on the weighing platform. The weight is shown on the display. If the weight is within the
specified range, the Accept light will illuminate and an acoustic signal will sound. If the weight is outside the
specified range, the Over or Under light will illuminate and no audible sound will be heard.
Note: The audible tone parameter can be changed from its default setting in user settings mode.
Note: If the weight has not stabilized, no light will come on.
To turn off the checkweighing function, enter the Setup mode as described above and change the setting to
„oFF.
5.5 Counting
The counting function calculates and displays the number of pieces of the load to be weighed.
In normal weighing mode, press the SET/0~9 button for 3 seconds to enter Setup mode.

Press and release the SET/0~9 button to scroll through the parameters until „UnItS" is displayed.

Press the TARE button to confirm.
Press the SET/0~9 button until „PcS" is displayed. Press the TARE button to confirm. The PcS lamp lights

up.
If a number of pieces has been entered previously, it will be displayed. To use the existing sample piece

quantity, skip the next two steps to begin counting the items.
In counting mode, press and hold the ON/ZERO button until the word „COUnt" is displayed briefly, then the

light pcs flashes and „0" is displayed.
Place a known quantity of items on the weighing platform and press the TARE button. „00000" is displayed
f
with the first zero flashing. Enter the quantity of items using the SET/0~9 key to increase the flashing digit
and press the TARE key to accept a digit and move to the next position. After the last digit is entered, the
scale will calculate the unit weight and display the number on the scale.
