Operating the Mixer
Electrical Requirements

Electrical Shock Hazard
Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
Do not remove ground prong.
Do not use an adapter.
Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to follow these instructions can result
in death, fire, or electrical shock.
Observe all governing codes and ordinances.
A 120 volt, 60 Hz, AC only, 15-amp, fused
electrical supply is required. (A time-delay fuse is
recommended.) It is recommended that a separate
circuit serving only this appliance be provided.
If you decide to use an optional foot pedal, plug the
mixer into the foot pedal socket; then plug the foot
pedal into an appropriate electrical supply
(described above) and set the ON/OFF switch on
the mixer in the ON position.
Mixing Containers
For mixing and sanitizing, it is recommended to use
the Hamilton Beach Stainless Steel Universal
Container, #110 E.
CAUTION: Do not use glass mixing containers.
Always use a collar with paper cups.
Mixing Soft-Serve Drink/Dessert
The amount of time required for mixing will
depend on the temperature of the soft-serve,
overrun %, and the type of flavoring ingredients.
A basic soft-serve mix recipe follows:

Mixing Hard Ice Cream
The Model 94950 can also handle mixing hard ice cream
and mix-ins. A basic recipe follows:

cup cookies or candies, or other mix-ins

• Four rounded scoops, or approximately 12 ounces, of
hard ice cream
•

cup milk

Place mix-ins in container first. Add ice cream and
milk. Mixing time will depend on the consistency of
the ice cream.
