the bottom of the charging slot. Always connect the cells in the right direction for polarity
(according to the symbols in the charging slots). The cells do not have to be inserted
simultaneously as the charging processes are separate from each other.
To prevent the cylindrical cells and the 9 V block from overcharging please only charge empty
cells. Please note the charging times in the table (6).
The maximum charging time for empty cells can be calculated with following formula:
Charging time (h) =
1.4 (charging factor) x capacity (mAh)
charge current (mA)
EXAMPLE:
Mignon AA 2000 mAh charging current for AA cells:150 mA
1.4 x 2000 mAh
150 mA
Charging time: approx. 18.5 h
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING:
To clean the charger, disconnect it from the power adaptor. To ensure correct function of the
charger keep the charging contacts free from dust and dirt. Please only use a dry cloth.
ENVIRONMENT:
Rechargeable batteries are not to be disposed of in domestic waste. Used batteries should be
turned into a battery recycling collection depot. Check with your local municipal office.
