Always use the scale fi lter insert when operating the appli-

Hot steam clouds may be released. The kettle also becomes

very hot during use. It is always best to wear oven mitts
when handling the kettle.
Ensure that the appliance is stood stably and vertically be-

fore switching it on. Boiling water can cause an unstable kettle
to fall over.
Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.
