PRESIDENT PED ASSEMBLY

Position the base plate keeping attention that it is laid down perfectly flat and that the
point mark is turned towards the exact position where you want the rod to come down
(figure 1).
- Once you have cemented the plate, screw down the three long threaded bars by clamping
them energetically with a pliers as shown in figures 2-3-4.
ASSEMBLY OPERATOR SUPPORT COLUMN
- After having screwed down the bars and having pulled the electric cables for the connections,
insert the tube CCA1289 and lean on it the operator support plate CCA1281. Pull the electric
cables up to the top of the operator support plate as shown in figures 5-6-7.
- Screw down the support plate using the washers and the screw nuts supplied with a
hexagonal setscrew wrench no. 17 as shown in figures 8-9-10.
OPERATOR FIXING ON THE COLUMN
- Lean the operator on the support plate and fix it by tightening with a socket head no. 6 the 4
screws supplied as shown in figures 11-12-13.
REMOVAL ROD RACK OPERATOR HUB
- Remove the hub-cap with a screw no. 5 (Fig. 14).
- Rotate the hub to allow the rod to be positioned horizontally (Fig. 15)
ASSEMBLY ROD IN THE ROD RACK HUB
- Insert the rod from the part of the hub with the largest diameter. (Fig. 16).
- Fix the rod in the hub by tightening the two screws with a no. 10 hexagonal wrench.
ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS
- Open the side panel with a socket head screw no. 4 to have access to the electronic board
(Fig. 17-18-19-20-21).
- Insert your hand inside the operator to pull out the electric cables you had formerly leaned
on the operator support plate.
- Carry out the harness according to the schemes A, B, C or D.
- Apply the network voltage and verify that led DL2, DL3 e DL4 are on. Contrariwise, verify the
correct connection of the photoelectric cells, stop button and release security.
- Press the button PROG.=> the bar opens
- Press the button PROG. again => the bar closes. Once closed, there is a small reversal for the
release facilitation.
REGULATION OF THE ROD'S POSITION
- In case the rod is not thoroughly horizontal, position a bubble level onto the rod, slacken the
4 adjusting screws and raise or lower the rod as required. Upon correct positioning of the rod
tighten the 4 adjusting screws (Fig. 22-23).
- Reassemble the hub cap (Fig. 24).

DO NOT START ELECTRICALLY THE OPERATOR IF THE ROD HASN'T BEEN ASSEMBLED YET.

DO NOT APPLY ADDITIONAL WEIGHTS WHICH ARE NOT PART OF THE PRODUCT ON THE ROD, SUCH
AS PLACARDS, LIGHTS, RACKS, TOOTH FACES, ETC.

DO NOT USE SLIDING BARS TO SUPPORT THE ROD, EITHER ASSEMBLED ON THE ROD OR ON THE
GROUND.
EMERGENCY RELEASE
To be carried out after having removed the electric input from the motor.
In case of lack of current, to open the rod manually it is necessary to release the operator.
This way the barrier rod is independent from the operator and can be moved manually.
Once the current is back, pull down the rod and turn the key clockwise until it stops.

In case the rod blocks again when the bar is up, the first command will be the opening one
in any case, and you will not see the movement of the barrier. At the second command,
the bar will close.
MAINTENANCE
To be exclusively carried out by the specialized personnel after having removed the electric
input from the machine.
Every 100.000 operation cycles ensure the 2 bar fixing screws and the 4 setting screws are
fully tightened.
Every 500.000 operation cycles replace the main motor gear BA10124. For ease of operation
the whole fence "head" of PRESIDENT PED can be replaced.

The non replacing of the primary group BA10124 at the end of the mentioned cycles, entails
the immediate deletion of the warranty.
To apply placards as well as other kinds of weights on the rod supplied entails a reduction of
the operator's life and the immediate deletion of the warranty.
To apply rods different by the RIB model, entails the immediate deletion of the warranty.
