Draining the Fuel Tank and Carburetor
1. Place an approved gasoline container below the carburetor, and use
a funnel to avoid spilling fuel.
2. Move the fuel valve lever to the OFF position, loosen the carburetor
drain bolt by turning 1 to 2 turns counterclockwise and drain the fuel
in the carburetor.
3. Remove the sediment cup, and then move the fuel valve lever to the
ON position and drain the fuel in the fuel tank.
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
You can be burned or seriously injured when
handling fuel.
• Keep heat, sparks, and flame away.
• Handle fuel only outdoors.
• Wipe up spills immediately.
