A2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

A2.1 Periodic maintenance
Perform periodically the following checks:
 Filter cleaning
Open periodically the drain valve of the filter letting the water flow for at least 5 seconds in order to guarantee a
complete cleaning. If need close the MiniDUE FILTRO ball valve, open the ring nut, extract the filter cartridge and
clean it manually under running water with the help of a clean small brush or a piece of a disposable absorbent paper.

As AcquaSIL 2/15 is consumed, the refill bag filling degree decreases, deflating, until it reaches the crushing. Arrange
to replace the refill bag.
 Working check
For the proper working of the dosing pump make sure that the product is dosed and consumed regularly. The level in

the AcquaSIL 2/15 refill should decrease proportionally with water treated.

Replace periodically the AcquaSIL 2/15
1. Rotate the empty refill clockwise.

bag; unscrew the cap by breaking the
plastic ferrule.
A2.2 Inactivity
After a period of inactivity of less than 30 days open a tap for at least 3- 4 minutes in order to flush all the piping
system. This precautionary operation should be performed always after prolonged periods of non-use of the water
distribution system independently of the presence of a water treatment device.
After a period of inactivity longer than 30 days the appliance must be sanitized.
The term "inactivity period" indicate a period in which the water distribution system remains completely closed
without withdrawal from tap (e.g. during holydays).
In case the hydraulic distribution system was subjected to a cleaning and sanitization it would be necessary to include
the appliance in the intervention as well. The sanitization is part of the extraordinary maintenance and it must be
performed by qualified personnel only.

A2.3 Periodic checks
It is advisable to make two inspections per year by an authorized technician to verify the proper operation of the
equipment.
