USE
Always check the water level in the

Never use the appliance without water in
the reservoir.
Before first use (fig. A)
Before first use, after a long period of non-use,
when the water reservoir has been removed,
or when water has completely run out, the
appliance must be cleaned and purged of air.
Fill the water reservoir (5) with cold water and
N
place it in the appliance.
Insert either of the two filters (16) into the filter
N
holder (14) without coffee. Place the filter holder
under the brew head (13) and lock it in place.

N
brew head.
Insert the plug and switch the appliance on (1).
N
The heater light (4) will illuminate.
Turn the pump switch (2) on. A pumping noise

will be heard and after a few seconds water will
come out of the brew head. When it does, turn
the pump switch off.
As soon as the heater light extinguishes, turn
N
the pump switch on and let water flow into the
cup. When the cup is full, turn the pump switch
off. Empty the cup and repeat this procedure
once more.
Next, the steam nozzle should be cleaned as
follows:
Switch the appliance off and top up the water
N
reservoir. Place a cup under the steam nozzle (8).
Turn the pump switch on (2). The heater light (4)
N
will illuminate.
As soon as the heater light extinguishes, slowly
