8. Decalcification

During the use of the machine limescale deposits are formed in the interior and must
be removed regularly. In the opposite case a blockage can occur in the water and
coffee system
The coffee machine reminds you of the decalcification according to your choice of
water hardness:
(1) Level 1: Remind you to descale after using 150L water;
(2) Level 2: Remind you to descale after using 120L water;
(3) Level 3: Remind you to descale after using 90L water;
(4) Level 4: Remind you to descale after using 60L water
Note:
If this procedure is not followed, the machine no longer works trouble-free.
In this case, the reparation is not covered under the warranty.
Attention:
The descaling solution and products issued until the completion of the cycle
should never be drunk.
Under no circumstances use vinegar for descaling.
Please descale your coffeemaker as follows:
Press the Menu / OK button
•
Select «Descaling» (descale set) with the arrow button
•
Add the cleaning tablet and press OK
•
Turn the knob right outside, which opens the steam valve
•
The descalcing process takes about an hour.
