or any other type of naked flame.

Engine
Strictly comply with the maintenance instructions in the engine manual supplied with your walking
tractor.
After first 50 hours work
1) Change the oil in the gearbox housing.
This should be done on a level surface when the engine is hot. Allow oil to flow out through fitting (A),
(Fig. 20) and pour new oil through plug (T) which has a dip stick (Fig. 21).
Use the type and quantity of oil indicated in the Lubricants Table on page 25).
2) The clutch lever (3), (Fig. 22) must have a free play of approx. 5-6 cm before the clutch itself begins to
disengage. If play is more, THE CLUTCH WILL NOT COMPLETELY DISENGAGE; if play is less, THE CLUTCH
MAY SLIP.
In this case, adjust by means of adjuster (R) after having slackened check nut (D) in order to re-establish
the required free play.

with lubricator
3) The quick coupling that hitches the implements to the PTO has a lubricator (I) which must be used to
grease the coupling used to hitch other implements (Fig. 23).
Also grease the PTO shaft (L) whenever a new implement is coupled.
4) Make sure that the tyres are correctly inflated to the pressures recommended in the Technical
Specifications chapter to ensure uniform tyre wear and optimum tractor performance.
Routine maintenance
EVERY 100 HOURS WORK
1) Check the oil level in the gearbox housing through plug (T), (Fig. 21).
This is carried out on a flat surface and with the engine cold. The level should reach between the min.
and max. mark of plug (T) with dip stick.
