AND SUPPORT POLE instructions located on page 8 in your operator's manual.
WARNING:
This insert sheet is not a substitute for reading the operator's manual. To
reduce the risk of injury or death, user must read and understand operator's
manual before using this product. All page references refer to the operator's
manual.
INSTALLING CHUTE DEFLECTOR AND SUPPORT POLE
See Figure 1.
 Place the chute deflector onto the support pole.
 Insert Torx screws (T25) through holes in support pole and chute deflector.
Tighten securely using Torx wrench provided.
 Lower the chute deflector and support pole onto the blower housing taking
care not to break the cable clip located behind the tire.
 Slide the slots in the support pole over the studs in the blower housing.
 Install nuts and torque to 18 ft.-lbs.
 Insert the bolt (M8) into the hole. Torque to 18 ft.-lbs.
SECURING THE CABLES
See Figure 2.
After the chute deflector and support pole are installed, the chute deflector
cables and power cable must be secured in the cord retainers located on both
sides of the handle and on the left side of the support pole.
NOTE: One power cable is located on the right side of the unit and the three
chute and deflector cables are located on left side of the unit.
 Route the power cable through the cord retainer on the right side of the handle.
 Repeat this step on the left side of the handle with the three chute and de-
flector cables.
 Next, route the chute and deflector cables across the bottom of the unit and
into the lower cord retainer at the bottom of the support pole.
 Once secured in the lower retainer, direct the three cables upward and into
the final cord retainer at the top of the support pole. Route the deflector cable
first and then the two chute cables.
NOTE: The deflector cable will be marked with an indicator line.
 Insert the deflector cable into the cord clip on top of the chute deflector. Align
indicator line with cord clip.
NOTE: Be sure all cables are secure inside the cord retainers and none of the
cables are being pinched or sharply bent. Pull cables taut at each retainer when
routing.
INSTALLING THE SKID SHOES TO THE BUCKET
See Figure 1.
The skid shoes adjust the height of the scraper from the ground. Before use, be
sure to install the skid shoes onto both sides of the bucket.
 Install two bolts through the holes on the inside of the bucket.
 Align the skid shoes and place onto the bolts as shown.
 Install a washer and nut onto each bolt and finger tighten.
 Position the skid shoe so it extends slightly below the bottom edge of the
bucket. Once in position, securely tighten the nuts.
 Repeat for the other side.
NOTE: Position the skid shoes equally to ensure the scraper is level and ap-
proximately 1/2 in. above the ground. See Adjusting/Replacing the Scraper
in Maintenance in the operator's manual.
