6. INITIAL USE

Remove the hearing amplifiers from the packaging and check that
the devices and all accessories are included and not damaged.
Choosing the right earplugs
C hoose an appropriately sized earplug and position it on the speaker.
1. The earplug should sit loosely and comfortably in your ear. Try
different earplugs until you find the ones that are most comfort-
able for you.
2. If the device makes a whistling sound, make sure that the earplug
is sitting correctly in your ear. If necessary, use a different earplug.
If the volume is too low even at a higher volume setting, the bat-
tery may need to be charged. See below for charging instructions.
Using the hearing amplifiers
1. Turn the volume control to the lowest setting.
2. Place the device on your ear and insert the earplug into the ear
canal until it fits snugly. Do not force it into your ear.
3. Slide the power switch to the "N" (On) position and turn the volume
control to a suitable volume setting.
