USING THE INFANT CARRIER WITH THE BASE

ATTACHING INFANT CARRIER TO BASE

1. Make sure handle is LOCKED in the DRIVE/CARRY position.
2. Lift Infant Carrier by the Handle and slide the Attachment
Rod under the Attachment Catch on the Base.
3. Rotate foot end of the Infant Carrier down onto
the Base until an audible CLICK is heard.
The green Safety Button will pop out from the middle of the Infant
Carrier Release to indicate proper attachment.
The Aton Q is allowed to touch the vehicle seat(s) in front of it, as
long as the recline angle of the Aton Q is not affected.

RELEASING INFANT CARRIER FROM BASE

ALWAYS have the handle locked in the upright DRIVE/
CARRY position while using this child restraint in a
vehicle.
If used, retract the L.S.P. device. See page 43.
1. Press the green Safety Button
the Infant Carrier Release down
2. Slightly tilt Infant Carrier toward front of vehicle.
Grasp Infant Carrier with both hands to lift off.
ALWAYS verify that the handle is LOCKED in the Carry
position before lifting Infant Carrier by the handle. An
unlocked handle could move unexpectedly, causing
child to fall out.
