Working on electric installations without
proper precautions will result in the risk
of electric shock, which will cause severe
injuries or death.
› Switch off input power before installing the
charging station. Keep the power off until
the charging station is fully installed with
its front cover installed and secure.
› Do not switch on the charging station if the
front cover is not installed or not secure.
› Do not install a faulty charging station or a
station with a noticeable issue.
Installation or repairs by non-qualified
electricians will result in the risk of electric
shock, which will cause danger to the user,
severe injuries or death.
› The installation must only be performed by
qualified electricians.
Warning
Installing the wallbox during wet environ-
mental conditions (for example rain or fog)
can result in the risk of electric shock and
damage to the product, which can cause
severe injuries or death.
› Do not install the wallbox during wet en-
vironmental conditions (for example rain
or fog) and do not open the wallbox in such
environmental conditions.
A damaged charging cable can result in the
risk of electric shock, which can cause dan-
ger to the user, severe injuries or death.
› Make sure that the charging cable is po-
sitioned so that it will not be stepped on,
tripped over, driven over or otherwise sub-
jected to excessive force or damage. Wind
the charging cable around the charging
station, making sure that the charging plug
does not touch the ground.
› Only pull on the charging plug hand grip
and never on the charging cable itself.
Caution
A front assembly with cracks in the glass can
cause the wallbox to become a hazardous
object, and thus result in the risk of injuries.
› If the glass of the front assembly breaks,
have the front assembly replaced immedia-
tely by a qualified electrician.
Not taking precautions against ESD (Elec-
trostatic discharge) can damage electronic
components in the wallbox.
› Take the necessary precautions against ESD
before touching electronic components.
Using other materials than specified in this
manual for installation, operation, main-
tenance and/or service of the wallbox can
result in damage to the wallbox.
› Do not use other materials than specified
in this manual, especially materials con-
taining silicone or phosphorus, as they can
damage the wallbox.
