12.5 Error codes
Over load indicator: When the scales is overloaded (above 5 kg) the
display will show the error code "EEEE".
Low loading of the capacitor: Open and close the leg of the scales
carefully and slowly until
automatically.
The Scales is not stable: Place the scales on a hard & flat surface.
13 Cleaning and Maintenance
This chapter provides important information on properly cleaning and maintaining your
scales.
13.1 Safety information

Please observe the following safety notices, before cleaning the scales:
► Clean the device after every use. Failure to clean the device regularly can lead to
potential malfunctions, as well as safety and health risks.
► Never immerse the scales into water or other liquid and do not put it in the dishwasher.
► If moisture penetrates the device's housing, it can damage the electronic components.
Please ensure that no moisture enters the device.
► Do not use any hard or abrasive cleaning agents. Do not attempt to scrape off
stubborn grime with hard or abrasive tools.
13.2 Cleaning
• Use a damp cloth to clean the surface of the scales.
13.3 Disposal of the Old Device
To protect the environment, it's important to dispose of old electronic devices
properly. Do not place your old device in the non-recyclable waste under any
circumstances

14 Warranty
We provide a 24 month guarantee for this product, commencing from the date of sale, for
faults which are attributable to production or material faults. Your legal guarantee
entitlements in accordance with § 439 ff. BGB-E remain unaffected by this. The
guarantee does not include damages, which were incurred as a result of improper
handling or use, as well as malfunctions which only have a minor effect on the function or
the value of the device.
