To receive optimal clipping results and to increase the durability of the clipper and the
clipperhead, it is necessary to apply a thin coat of oil between top and bottom blade.
Clipperhead and Hinge
Clean clipperheads and hinge between the different clippings.
Charging Station
1. Disconnect the charging station from the power supply.
2. If necessary, remove hairs from both charging cavities.
3. If dirty, clean the contacts (1) and (2) with a dry cloth.
Contacts
If required, clean the contacts of the batteries and the clipper with a dry cloth.
WARNING: BATTERIES MUST BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF PROPERLY.
1. The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
2. The battery is to be disposed of safely.
Insufficient lubrication of the clipper head will cause heating and a reduced durability of
clipper and blades, as well as a reduction of the battery runtime. Therefore:
The blades must be oiled before, during, and after every use. If the blades of the clipper
are leaving stripes or are running with reduced speed, this is a signal that oil is required.
Place a few drops of oil over and laterally on the clipper blades. Wipe off the excessive
oil with a smooth, dry cloth. Lubrication sprays do not have sufficient oil for a good
lubrication, but will be sufficient for cooling the blades. Immediately change damaged or
serrated blades to avoid injuries.
WARNING
Never leave unit unattended while the unit is running or while the switch is in the ON
position. Always turn the unit OFF before placing in charging stand or before using the
accessory cord.
Do not dispose of batteries and clippers with household refuse. Do not
throw batteries into fire or water. Defective or exhausted batteries and
clipper must be collected and recycled or disposed of in environmentally
compatible ways according to National, regional and local laws, regulations,
and Directives.
