33. Install the front and rear belly pans (1, 2).
34. Install the fasteners (3, 4, 5) securing the front and
rear belly pans (1, 2) to the vehicle. Tighten the
screws (5) to 3 N­m (26.5 in. lbs.) and tighten the
bolts (3) to 4 N­m (35 in. lbs.)
35. Using a new rivet and rivet gun, install the rivet (1) se­
curing the splash shield to the fender.
36. Using new rivets and rivet gun, install the three rivets
(1) securing the splash shield to the fascia and dis­
card.
37. Install the fastener (2) securing the lower portion of the
splash shield to the belly pan.
NOTE: Repeat steps 35, 36 & 37 on the opposite side
of the vehicle.
38. Lower the vehicle.
39. Close the hood.
40. Connect the negative battery cable.
