6) Press the throttle control lever right down.
7) Pull hard on the starter rope grip until the
engine starts (generally, not more than 4/5 times)

CAUTION: the blades may be
moving.

Do not operate the throttle lever.
9) Continue to pull the starter cord handle until
the engine is fully running.
WARNING - DANGER! The engine
starts and is accelerated in the middle
so the blades are in motion.
Let the motor run for a few seconds.
10) Do not use the hedge-trimmer if
the blades are moving at idle speed.
Contact an after-sales centre to remedy the
problem.
11) Do not move or transport the
hedge-trimmer with the motor running.
In case of transport, cover the blade with the blade
cover provided.

is best to leave the engine running at idle speed
