4. ASSEMBLY
FRONT HANDLE WITH GUARD
1) Position the handle (part. 1.) as illustrated in
figure 2.
2) Clamp with 2 screws, washers and nuts (fig.
2).
The guard is mounted to ensure a
safe distance between the hand of
the user and the blade.
3) Do not start or use the machine if
it not fully assembled.
5. REFUELLING
1) ATTENTION! The equipment is pro-
vided with a 2-stroke engine.
The engine requires a mixture of petrol and
oil for 2-stroke engines with the following
percentages.
40 : 1 = (2,5% OIL)
PETROL: use unleaded petrol with octane
number equal / higher than 95 Ron.
RECOMMENDED OIL
Top-quality oil for two-stroke engines:
Service class JASO: FC class

2) Mix by shaking the fuel con-
tainer extensively before each
refuelling.

Prepare a quantity of fuel that can be used within
1 month
3) Prepare the fuel mixture and perform the refuel-
ling only in the open air (Fig.10).
4) Store the fuel in a container made for the pur-
pose and with the cap properly closed.
Top up the chain oil tank every time you add
fuel.
6. STARTING AND STOPPING
CAUTION! Strictly heed the warnings
outlined in the chapter 2 above titled
ESSENTIAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.
COLD ENGINE STARTUP
1) Place the hedgecutter on a stable surface.
2) Press the stop button (fig. 11 part. 1) to the
"
" position.
3) Lift the choke lever located to the right of the
air filter cover (fig.12 part.1) and place it in posi-
tion "A".
4) Press all the way the primer bulb (fig. 12 part.
2) until the fuel gets back to the tank through the
second transparent little pipe (fig.12 part.3).
5) Grip the rear control with the left hand using the
palm of the hand to press the throttle lock (fig.11
