Cleaning and maintenance

CAUTION:
Always be sure that the Professional Blender is unplugged and completely cooled
before cleaning or attempting to store the item. NEVER IMMERSE base in water or
any other liquid.
It is important to clean your Professional Blender thoroughly after each use to
prevent sticky build ups that are difficult to clean later.
1. Remove the individual parts from the Professional Blender base.
2. Wash the parts in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly before storing.
To wash the pitcher, put 1 cup soapy water in the pitcher with the lid in place
and press the pulse switch 2-3 times, then pour out the water and rinse and
dry thoroughly.
3. It is recommended that after you dry the blender thoroughly that you allow
the blender parts to air dry for 24 hours before storing to help prevent mold
or rust from building up.
4. Wipe the base with a damp cloth, sponge or paper towel. Do NOT immerse
the base or run water over the base unit. Dry the surfaces with a soft cloth or
paper towel before storing.
5. WARNING: The blades are very sharp - handle with care.
6. Do not use abrasive cleaners on any part of the Professional Blender.
